About
I'm a computer scientist by training who fell in love with ceramics and quickly ran into a problem: by the time my pieces came out of the kiln, I couldn't remember which glaze combinations I had used.
At the same time, I kept discovering beautiful work from other artists and wishing I could learn how those pieces were made, but that information was not always easy to find.
Clay Catalog grew out of that gap: a simple app to track my work, from glaze combinations to final results, along with claycatalog.com, a space where ceramic artists can share their pieces, document their process, and learn from one another.
