Overview

Clay Catalog is a personal ceramics cataloging app. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and never sell your data to third parties.

Data stored on your device

All your ceramic pieces, photos, glaze notes, and stage information are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share a piece to the community.

Account information

If you create a Clay Catalog account, we collect your email address, a hashed password, and the display name you choose. This information is used solely to identify you within the app and on claycatalog.com.

Shared pieces

When you share a piece to the community, the photos, title, glaze labels, and notes you include are uploaded to our servers and displayed on claycatalog.com. Pieces shared publicly are visible to anyone. You can delete a shared piece at any time from your dashboard.

Photos

Photos you take or import are stored on your device. Photos included in a shared piece are uploaded to secure cloud storage (Supabase) solely for the purpose of displaying them on claycatalog.com. We do not use your photos for any other purpose.

  • Browsing history
  • Health or fitness data
  • Financial information

Third-party services

Clay Catalog uses Supabasefor authentication and cloud storage of shared pieces. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the account page on claycatalog.com. On-device data can be removed by deleting the app.
